The 3-4-5 Cash Sweepstakes will be conducted beginning on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 and ending on Monday, December 7, 2009 . |
|
To participate, a player must submit any combination of five (5) non-winning Virginia Lottery Pick 3, Pick 4 or Cash 5 tickets of any denomination. Tickets must be purchased during the sweepstakes period for each drawing. |
|
In conjunction with this Sweepstakes, ten (10) prize drawings will take place, one (1) each on October 6, 2009, October 13, 2009, October 20, 2009, October 27, 2009, November 3, 2009, November 10, 2009, November 17, 2009, November 24, 2009, December 1, 2009 and December 8, 2009 to select the winners for this Sweepstakes. Each drawing will award ten (10) $500 cash prizes. |

Entries received but not selected to win a prize in a drawing will not be eligible for the next drawing. All Sweepstakes entries must be received at the Lottery by:
11:59 p.m. on October 5, 2009 for the October 6, 2009 drawing,
11:59 p.m. on October 12, 2009 for the October 13, 2009 drawing,
11:59 p.m. on October 19, 2009 for the October 20, 2009 drawing,
11:59 p.m. on October 26, 2009 for the October 27, 2009 drawing,
11:59 p.m. on November 2, 2009 for the November 3, 2009 drawing
11:59 p.m. on November 9, 2009 for the November 10, 2009 drawing,
11:59 p.m. on November 16, 2009 for the November 17, 2009 drawing,
11:59 p.m. on November 23, 2009 for the November 24, 2009 drawing,
11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2009 for the December 1, 2009 drawing.
11:59 p.m. on December 7, 2009 for the December 8, 2009 drawing. |

Entries submitted will be valid for the drawing based on the date the entry is received by the Virginia Lottery. |
|
The 3-4-5 Cash Sweepstakes is open to players 18 years of age or older. Players may be required to provide proof of their date of birth. |
|
A player may enter the 3-4-5 Cash Sweepstakes more than once as long as a different non-winning PICK 3, PICK 4, or CASH 5 ticket is submitted with each entry. However, a player is only eligible to win one (1) prize per drawing as a result of this Sweepstakes. |
|
Chances
of winning any prize in the 3-4-5 Cash Sweepstakes depend on the
number of total entries. |
|
The
Virginia Lottery
will not be responsible
for entries submitted
incorrectly,
or received before
the September 29, 2009 start date
or after the December 7, 2009 entry deadline
date. Such entries
shall be deemed
invalid. |

be eligible to enter the 3-4-5 Cash Sweepstakes, you must register as
a participant with your
name, date of birth, street address,
city, state and ZIP
code, phone number and
a valid e-mail address.
If you have
registered for previous
second-chance drawings
such as the the Corvette Cash Sweepstakes,
there is no need
to re-register. |

To enter by mail, a player must clearly and legibly print his or her full name (first middle initial & last), street address, city, state, zip code and daytime telephone number on the back of at least one of their non-winning Virginia Lottery Pick 3, Pick 4, or Cash 5 tickets submitted as their Sweepstakes entry (An address stamp or self-addressed label may be used). The non-winning tickets must be mailed in an envelope no larger than 4½” x 9 ½” during the Sweepstakes Period, to the Sweepstakes address:

The Winners selected will each be notified by an official letter sent by the Virginia Lottery. Included with the congratulatory letter will be a Claim form, an Affidavit of Eligibility form, return envelope and a complete copy of the Virginia Lottery’s 3-4-5 Cash Sweepstakes Rules.
Winners who fail to respond to their winner notification will forfeit their Prize. |
