Nominated teachers must be K-12 public school educators currently teaching in the state of Virginia.
Nominated Virginia teachers must currently teach a class between kindergarten and twelfth grade, inclusive.
Nominated teachers must be 18 years of age or older. Winning teachers may be required to provide proof of their date of birth.
The Virginia Lottery Super Teacher Award contest will be conducted from February 12, 2008, through April 11, 2008.
This Contest is open to persons 18 years of age or older. Participants (Nominators) may be required to provide proof of their date of birth.
A person may submit an entry for this Contest more than once as long as a different teacher is nominated with each entry.
Submitted entries become the property of the Virginia Lottery and will not be returned.
Each entry must contain current and valid information. The Virginia Lottery will not change or update entry information for an entry that has already been submitted.
The prizes awarded during this Contest are not transferable or assignable. Prizes offered by The Supply Room Companies are not redeemable for cash.

To enter via the Internet, a person must go to the Virginia Lottery’s contest website, access the Contest page and complete a Super Teacher Awards Nomination Form following the provided instructions.
Each entry’s essay must contain no more than five hundred (500) words.
Persons must correctly submit all required information. The Virginia Lottery will not be responsible for information that is entered incorrectly.
Entries submitted by US mail must be postmarked by April 11, 2008 and received by April 15, 2008 in order to be eligible to participate in this Contest.
A person must clearly and legibly complete a Super Teacher Awards Nomination Form. This Nomination Form must be completely filled out with all required information and mailed (during the Contest Period) to:

Each entry's essay must contain no more than five hundred (500) words, must be no smaller than twelve-point type and must be double-spaced.
Only the requested entry information will be accepted. Any additional information submitted will not be used in the judging process.
Entries mailed to the Virginia Lottery with insufficient postage will be deemed invalid.
Entries will not be accepted that are mailed to or delivered to any other Virginia Lottery address.
