There’s a new way to put a prize into your online player wallet or cash an online win at retail!

The Virginia Lottery has new ways for players to claim a prize! Players can claim a prize conveniently in the mobile app by scanning a winning ticket with the app’s ticket-checking feature. Once the ticket’s barcode is scanned, the player has the option to claim the prize or find a retail location to validate the ticket. The mobile ticket cashing process allows a player to claim a prize of up to $5,000 in the app. Once the claim process is complete, the prize will be deposited into the player’s online player wallet. Prizes over $5,000 will need to be claimed at a Virginia Lottery Customer Service Center.

Want to withdraw money from your online player wallet at a Lottery retailer? Create a withdrawal voucher, and present it at a Lottery retailer to get the cash. After a win in the app or at valottery.com, follow the steps to make a withdrawal in your online player wallet, and select Withdraw at Retail. Choose the amount to withdraw (up to $250). The voucher will be created, and then it’s ready to be cashed at retail.
