The ease and flexibility of scanning your ticket to check if it’s a winner has come to valottery.com on your mobile device. You can deposit a prize into your online player wallet via the mobile web too!

To scan your ticket to check if it’s a winner, just visit valottery.com on your phone’s web browser, and tap Check My Numbers in the top banner. Then, follow the steps below..

• Uncover the barcode located on the bottom front of your ticket. Scratch off the latex in the area marked CHECK PRIZE.
• Tap the Scan Ticket button at valottery.com.
• If prompted, tap Allow to grant access to your phone’s camera.
• Position the barcode within the camera window to scan.
• Scan your ticket.

Once the ticket’s barcode is scanned, you will be alerted as to whether it’s a winning ticket.

If your ticket is a winner, you have the option to claim the prize or find a retail location to validate the ticket. The mobile ticket cashing process allows a player to claim a prize of up to $5,000 at valottery.com and deposit it into your online player wallet. Once the claim process is complete, the prize will be deposited into the player’s online player wallet. Prizes over $5,000 will need to be claimed at a Virginia Lottery Customer Service Center.
