The entry deadline for each drawing is 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the date listed under the Entry Deadline heading above. In each drawing, there will be 30 winners, and each winner will win a $500 gift card from a home-improvement store.

Spring Scratcher Bonus Promotion Registration and Logging in

• How do I enter the Spring Scratcher Bonus Promotion?
  You can scan eligible Scratchers to enter them via the Lottery app or the mobile web version of valottery.com. Winning and nonwinning Scratchers can be entered into this promotion only via one of those two channels. If a player wants to enter a winning Scratcher into the promotion, the Scratcher must be entered prior to claiming the Scratcher’s prize.
• My password is not being accepted when I try to log in. What's wrong?
  Most likely, you haven't opened a Virginia Lottery account. You'll need to open an account to enter your ticket(s). Click Register in the top-right corner of any valottery.com page to register. Once completed, click the Continue button.
• I forgot my password. What should I do?
  Click Login in the top-right corner of any valottery.com page, and follow the instructions to have your password emailed to you. You'll need to use the original email address you used to open your account even if it is no longer current.
• I am not able to enter my tickets. When I click on Enter Now, I am asked to log in. Why is this happening?
  To enter this promotion, you need a Virginia Lottery online account. To open an account, click Register in the top-right corner of any page. Once completed, click the Continue button.
• Where do I find the barcode that I am supposed to scan to enter the ticket?
  
  You will need to use the ticket-scanning function in the Lottery app or on the mobile web version of valottery.com to scan the Scratcher’s Ticket Number Barcode to complete the entry process. The ticket-scanning function uses your mobile device’s camera to scan the ticket. The Ticket Number Barcode can be revealed by scratching the Check Prize box on the front of a Scratcher.
• I received a message that says my ticket has already been entered. How can that be if I have the ticket in my possession, and what should I do?
  First, check your list of previously submitted entries to verify that the ticket has not been previously entered by you. If it has not, please contact the Lottery by filling out the email form on our Contact Us page. Include all applicable numbers that you tried to enter, and the Virginia Lottery will investigate.
• May I enter a drawing more than once?
  Yes. You may enter a drawing more than once. Players may submit up to 50 eligible Scratchers per day. However, a player is eligible to win only one (1) prize per drawing.
• I have tickets, but I can't remember whether I have entered them into the drawing. How can I see which tickets have been entered?
  Each time you submit a ticket, a record of the entry appears in your list of entries at the bottom of the page where you submitted your tickets. All your entries are in that list, so you may cross-reference that list with the tickets you are holding.
• May I dispose of the tickets after I have entered them?
  Yes. For this promotion, you do not need to keep your tickets once you have successfully submitted them.
• Do I need to be a Virginia resident to enter this Virginia Lottery promotion?
  No. There are no restrictions for out-of-state players. Anyone who is eligible to purchase Virginia Lottery tickets is eligible to participate in this promotion.

• How do I find out if I have been selected as a winner?
  For all drawings, an unofficial list of winners will be posted on our website no more than five (5) business days after each drawing. Winners become official once we've verified they qualify. We check age, identification and entry validity. We will contact winners directly to explain how to claim a prize.
• I submitted several entries into the drawing. Why didn't I win a prize?
  The odds of winning a prize in this promotion depend on the total number of entries received.

• The promotional entry period is May 1, 2024, through May 31, 2024, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
• Winning and nonwinning Scratchers are eligible for entry. If a player wants to enter a winning Scratcher into the promotion, the Scratcher must be entered prior to claiming the Scratcher’s prize. Please check here for a complete list of entry dates, deadlines and draw dates.
• Entries for this promotion are accepted through the Lottery website and Lottery mobile app only
• A player must use the player’s mobile device to scan the Scratcher’s Ticket Number Barcode via the mobile web version of valottery.com or in the Lottery app to complete the entry process.
• This promotion is open to players 18 years of age or older. Players may be required to provide proof of date of birth.
• A player may enter the promotion more than once as long as a different qualifying Scratcher is submitted.
• Players may submit a maximum of 50 eligible Scratchers per day for this promotion.
• Players do not need to retain the Scratcher(s) once the Scratcher(s) has been entered.
• All entries submitted have an equal chance of winning a prize.
• Odds of winning a prize in this promotion depend on the tota number of entries received.
• The Virginia Lottery will not be responsible for entries submitted incorrectly or received before the entry start date or after the end date. Such entries shall be deemed invalid.
• We try to contact winners by email, phone and/or mail. If you want us to reach you quickly, be sure your Virginia Lottery account contact information is up to date . If we can't reach a winner by the deadline listed in the rules, we will then move on to an alternate.
