The new Mega Millions launched on April 5, and the Lottery is celebrating the new game with a promotion! In the promotion’s drawing, 10 players each will win $10,000!
Here’s the first step: From April 21, 2025, through May 18, 2025, purchase $10 or more of Mega Millions on a single ticket at a retailer, Lottery Vending Machine or online.
With a retail or vending purchase, you can use the ticket to enter. Scan the ticket in the Lottery app or on the mobile version of valottery.com, and that will serve as your entry into the promotion.
If you make the purchase online, you’ll receive an email approximately 24 hours after your purchase. Follow the directions in the email to enter the promotion.
You must have a Virginia Lottery online account to enter this promotion.
Tickets purchased from April 21, 2025, through May 18, 2025, can be used to enter. Emails will generate for qualifying online purchases made from April 21, 2025, through May 18, 2025.
Entry deadline: May 25, 2025, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET
